Learn Sanskrit the yogic way: through its application to the subtle body, its sound, and creative transmission. Engaging in an accelerated learning approach, anticipate a ZOOM journey full of joy, engagement, and rigor. You will leave this Sanskrit training with a solid introduction to the Sanskrit alphabet. You will be able to write and sing the entire alphabet and understand the meaning behind many sacred mantras.

Course includes 6hrs of formal class over three weekends, mid-week check-ins, mid-week meditations, and personalized pronunciation support as needed. Basic Sanskrit for Yogis manual included with course. No previous training in Sanskrit is necessary.

* How Sanskrit connects you to your practice
* About the origin of the Sanskrit alphabet
* The meaning and pronunciation of mantra
* Devanagari, the beautiful writing of Sanskrit

About the instructor:
Stéphane Dreyfus has studied Sanskrit since 2007, primarily with Lama Marut. He has worked on numerous publications as a Sanskrit consultant and translator and has taught Sanskrit for yoga teacher trainings since 2009.
